Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe, a singer-songwriter of the genre country music, hails from the US. The album Satisfied was released in 2007. She formed a Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. With over fifteen years' work experience, she's served at various levels of public service, including five years spent as Iowa City's Deputy City Manager position. The current duties of the Assistant Village Manager include management of the Community Development and Building Department in coordinating grant applications and working on special tasks. At Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of the village's services, while also taking on the strategic plan of the elected officials and the community. Ashley has held a variety of positions during her career, which included municipal planning, government communications collective bargaining for the budgeting of personnel in addition to focusing on climate change initiatives. Ashley's participation in the national organization, as well as her involvement with diverse communities and demographics has allowed her to gain insights into the various differences and similarities between how different public organizations are run.
