Nancy O'Dell's broadcast career began as an anchor and journalist for WPDE-TV Myrtle beach, South Carolina. In later years, she was employed by WCBD as anchor for the morning show and as a crime reporter. When she was in Charleston O'Dell's reports regarding the police's lenient approach towards DUI cases caused an State Law Enforcement Division investigation which resulted in the states authorities again releasing the strictest guidelines regarding the instances. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time working in Charleston as a reporter and co-anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station before moving into Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent during weekends. As well as her work as a lead anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also a contributor to NBC News' Today and also contributes to Dateline NBC. She was a reporter for events like The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. Alongside co-hosting the Pre-ShowArrivals in preparation for The Emmys & The Golden Globes.
