Alana De La Garza was born in the year 1976 by the Mexican-American father and Irish-American mother. She is a popular actress on TV. De La Garza's parents were Mexican-American and Irish-American. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months before she moved to Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of roles in acting, such as local independent films and commercials. Despite having small parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for acting. The year 2001 saw her move into New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's soap-opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her debut series role on The Mountain which was a short-lived television drama. De La Garza had the privilege of working alongside some outstanding TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. De La Garza was nominated for several Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on a drama TV series. De La Garza got a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments later. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. On NBC's dark and dramatic show Do No Harm she played the character as the character Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes.
